Revitalising Our Brand Image

Revitalising Our Brand Image

If you’ve seen our social content recently you’ll notice some things may look a little different. Yes, we are in the process of revitalising our brand image! Re:think has been around for 13 years, and it was time for a makeover. This year has been a business rollercoaster ride and with the current local economic situation, we need to make some changes to our brand.

We are choosing to do this for a few reasons. Firstly, what is a brand image? Brand Image is how customers think of a brand. We are expanding our services and we want to highlight that with our new brand. Since our company is evolving, we wanted to make sure our existing and potential customers are aware and updated on current events.

Secondly, it is for market repositioning. Our current position as a key player in the market is not where we want it to be. Marketing 101 states that a brand should never become stale, so we are making the change for the better. The Re:think brand is currently portrayed as a design communications agency, and we still are. However, we are also so much more – we provide a range of services from publications consisting of annual reports and coffee table books to all things digital. We are a 360º agency.

The current economic situation and the pandemic has taught us to be prepared for the unexpected as it has affected many businesses. The industry is now more competitive than ever and we are all aiming to be at the top. We have been exploring new ways to stay relevant, realigning our brand to meet our customers’ requirements and deliver beyond expectations as a reliable, trusted brand.

The revitalising process required some research based on the latest business trends and satisfying customer needs. It can be difficult to transition a brand to align with current-day technologies and design. Adaptation is key, so we always need to know our next move and be three steps ahead. We wanted our existing and potential customers to get excited about our new brand direction. It’s about finding new ways to tell the same story; our story, without risking the company’s core identity.

So, what makes us different from the rest of the other agencies that say they’re different too? What were we trying to say and portray? These were just the first few questions that we asked ourselves before heading on this journey. The answers to these questions helped us develop our new value proposition, mission and the company’s overall look.

Modernising your brand image is important as your business changes and grows. Chances of falling behind your competition are higher when the brand is no longer current. The first step we took was changing our content appearance. We didn’t change our logo but are focusing on presenting a new brand identity instead. We adopted a professional look and feel that was visually impactful and distinguishable.

With social media being so fast-paced and competitive, we had to realign our social channels to achieve the reach and presence we wanted. Our contents are tailored to a more targeted crowd to essentially send a consistent brand message across all our channels to make us memorable.

As our business continues to evolve, so will our brand. This is only the beginning of our journey and there’s still lots more to be done. Follow us and experience how you too can advance your brand with our marketing and communications services!
